La Petite Linen Shoppe came out of my love for the unique colours, patterns and softness of vintage linens. They take me back to so many happy summer days I spent at the cottage as a kid where the beds were always made up with soft cotton sheets in florals and bold colours and patterns. I love that I can incorporate that same warm feeling into my home today through these timeless linens and this shop is my way of sharing that experience with you, my customers.
I value vintage linens. I think the fact these pieces have a history adds great value and unique character. I love scouring flea markets, yard sales and thrift stores to find treasures from the past that I can share with you. Vintage linens are not necessarily scarce, but it can be difficult to find good quality vintage linens in excellent condition. I shop to discover the best items for my customers and present them through beautiful photographs here so you can shop without leaving the comfort of your own home.
I take great care in washing, pressing and packaging my items so that my buyers feel the excitement and worth of their purchases. Because they're vintage, most articles have been previously loved, but I want my customers to feel more pleased opening their purchases from La Petite Linen Shoppe as they would if they had bought new. I strive to ignite a love for vintage linens in the modern world through beautiful presentation, packaging, and cheerful customer service.
The title La Petite Linen Shoppe is half french, half english, and is a symbolic nod to my life as an english girl living in the beautiful french culture of Montreal.
